atsuyo

Instructor

Atsuyo is originally from Japan and lived in Europe (the Netherlands & Ireland) for over 10 years before moving to New Zealand in 2013. She developed a deep passion for yoga, not only for the physical practice of asanas but also for the journey of self-discovery that yoga offers beyond the mat. Balancing the demands of being a mother to three children while managing a corporate life, yoga quickly became an integral part of her life. She found that yoga didn’t make her life busier but, rather, fulfilled and complemented it. She enjoys teaching classes that feature flowing sequences, where participants can be mindful, curious, playful, and calm all at once. Her aim is to create a sense of wholeness and she loves sharing the space and energy with everyone in the room. She has completed her RYT 200 Teacher Training at Inspire Yoga Teacher Training NZ and Oki Yoga in Japan.

Krystel
Instructor

Krystel’s passion for Pilates was sparked over 20 years ago when she attended her first Reformer session. In her own words she says “I walked out of each session two centimetres taller and my body rejuvenated!” The back pain she had been experiencing for years disappeared. Because of this she felt she could go on to pursue any activity of her choice.

In 2010 Krystel completed a Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction through Polestar Pilates International. She then opened her own Pilates studio in South Australia, nestled amongst the vines in the Barossa Valley. Krystel loves the community associated with the studio.

Krystel really enjoys using the Reformer and other Pilates apparatus to move all of the joints throughout our body in ways that we so rarely do in our every-day life.

Theresa

instructor

I discovered Pilates about 2 decades ago and it’s a daily thrill to see how someone move from unstable and weak to walking upright, balancing better and improve muscle tone. I completed my studies on all Pilates equipment and followed up with more workshops and studies to satisfy my curiosity.

I mostly teach Mat and Reformer classes – you will find me at Whitford on Mondays. I mostly enjoy one on one sessions to support and encourage during the healing or recovery and strengthening phase. The active ageing is my speciality – seeing someone regain independence in cases where they had to hold on for assistance in order to get out of a chair.

I love going for a walk with my partner over weekends and indulgence in New Zealand’s exquisite nature scenes, or have indepth conversations with friends around a dinner table.

Brittany

Instructor

A few years ago, I took my first Pilates class, and that’s when the obsession began! I quickly fell in love with how Pilates challenges both the body and the mind. The way it fosters connection and how it makes you feel is something I truely cherish. This year, I’m continuing my journey of learning with BASI, working through their full comprehension course to deepen my knowledge and skills.

Teaching Pilates is incredibly rewarding for me. I love creating classes that push people to discover their limits while helping them build strength and flexibility along the way.

When I’m not teaching or practicing Pilates, you can find me spending time with my three beautiful teenagers, who keep me on my toes and inspired every day.

Ammie

Instructor

I’m all about movement that makes you feel strong, challenged, and energized. Whether it’s mat Pilates, reformer, or barre, I love creating classes that bring the burn in the best way possible. I’ll push you, motivate you, and make sure you’re feeling every muscle—because that’s where the magic happens! I’m also a big fan of props to keep things fun and keep your body guessing. Can’t wait to see you in class and sweat it out together!

Hela

Instructor

Hi! My name is Hela.  I teach yoga, Pilates, and kids' yoga, with a special love for restorative and calming practices. My passion is helping people find a sense of calm in the chaos of everyday life by connecting with their breath, body, and inner stillness.

I also host community circles, breathwork sessions, and sound healing experiences—creating spaces for people to unwind, recharge, and just be. Whether it's an energizing reformer class or a soothing restorative practice, my focus is always on guiding others to move with awareness, breathe more deeply, and feel at home in themselves.

KELLY

Instructor

Kelly purchased the business from the original founders in January 2018 after working as an instructor.

Kelly trained in Mat, Reformer and Wunda Chair with Studio Pilates in Australia where she also completed her Progressions course and Advanced Reformer. Coupled with this Kelly is also trained in leading Barre Attack classes designed by Renee Scott in Australia.

Kelly believes the three disciplines of Pilates, Yoga and Barre are so complimentary of each other. Each of them focuses on fitness, flexibility and strength. Kelly loves that her studio is in a position to offer all of these classes.

MOLLY

Instructor

My name is Molly and I teach reformer pilates. I have danced since the age of 5 and I grew up as a competitive dancer. I have taught dance and gymnastics and am now putting all my knowledge to use for pilates! I have always had a passion for exercise and helping people reach their goals, build strength and feel more confident. When I am not teaching, I enjoy walking, going to the beach and spending time with my friends and family and what I love about teaching pilates is getting to know my clients and creating a positive space where everyone feels welcome and comfortable :)
